University Town Center Community Near U.C.I.
Information About the University Town Center Community Near U. C. I.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the the University Town Center community in Irvine, California, let me briefly describe this urban, eclectic community near U. C. I.
The University Town Center community encompasses four communities in which you can purchase a condo or town home (Cambridge Court, Columbia Square, Oxford Court and Princeton Townhomes) interspersed with several apartment communities (I.A.C.) for lease, and retirement complexes that one can either rent or purchase.
The University Town Center community is located south of the 405 Freeway, near the 73 Toll Road, and borders Culver/Campus/Harvard/and University Drive.
The University Town Center community is walking distance to the University of California at Irvine, and was built out between the years 1981 and 1984. It was futuristic in conception and design: namely, the first urban, pied-a-terre neighborhood in an otherwise planned-suburban-style city. It was conceived and organized around the rapidly growing (in size and reputation) campus at U.C. Irvine.
That said, the University Town Center community remains a vibrant, eclectic, sought-after community in which to live, work, and recreate, and, above all, obtain a first-class education from the top-rated elementary school in the neighborhood (Turtle Rock Elementary), through the nationally-ranked high school (University High), on to undergraduate studies at U.C. Irvine, and through many of the well-acclaimed graduate programs offered at U.C.I, including Creative Writing, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Medical, and a world class Law School just to mention a few.
